This position requires the ability to prioritize effectively and to address the needs of several different stakeholder programs to assist with the RMC Curriculum. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.Other information:Required Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with two years’ work experience in healthcare Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Professional with strong keyboard skills. Familiarity with medical terminology. Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail. Ability to prioritize appropriately and meet deadlines, setting goals, managing multiple complicated tasks, and working with minimal or no supervision. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; exemplifying a professional, courteous manner when communicating. Perform as a team player with a good sense of humor, enthusiasm, and patience. Act as a role model and a resource for other department administrative support staff. Takes initiative and represent the college independently. Demonstrate professionalism in dealing with confidential information. Work with faculty and students in a collegial and collaborative manner. It is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of duties, responsibilities, or requirements.Responsibilities: Manages budget and reimbursements for both the Family Medicine Leadership and Health Equity and Social Justice Programs. Functions as a liaison between the program director, faculty, students, UME office, participating sites, and other internal department and outside agencies. Responsible for assisting program leadership with preparing course documentation that students will reference during an academic course. Collaborates with the Pre-Clerkship Curriculum Team to assess any issues that arise over the term. Partners with program leadership in development of program-level policies for the RMC Health Equity Community Educator Program (e.g., honorariums/ community panels), Family MedicineLeadership Program, and the Health Equity and Social Justice Program. Collaborate with program leadership to schedule course meetings on and off campus. Assists with cataloging projects, abstracts, poster presentations, electives, OpEds, journal articles, and RCSIPs that our students have produced over the course of the program. Develops plans for continuing education and training to meet the needs of the program and attends job-related training and in-service sessions.Rush is an equal opportunity employer.
