Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team as a flooring installation Field Project Manager.

This role combines hands-on warehouse management with field-based project management for flooring installations in and around the Fayetteville, North Carolina area, offering the right candidate a rewarding and diverse career path.

The successful candidate will oversee projects from initiation to completion while ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction as well as operating our Fayetteville warehouse, ensuring its smooth operation and maintenance. The regularly scheduled hours for this full-time position will be 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends as determined by the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

· Serve as a project manager for flooring installations, supporting both our installers and customers to meet customer requirements and deadlines.

· Conduct site visits to ensure quality standards are being upheld by our installation teams. Address any issues or concerns that arise during installation, providing timely resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Coordinate with installation teams, suppliers, and customers to facilitate project progress and communication including calling customers with ETAs and notifying Lowe’s stores when installers are en route to pick up materials.

· Identify deficiencies or issues with installations and take appropriate corrective actions to resolve them.

· Provide feedback to installation teams and implement improvement strategies as needed.

· Document project progress, including updates, changes, and any relevant information.

Customer & Store Relations:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with Lowe’s stores and customers by:

· Assisting Lowe’s associates with product training and providing expertise on flooring installations.

· Generating leads through store visits and customer interactions.

Warehouse Coordination:

· Conduct the Fayetteville, North Carolina low-volume warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing flooring materials.

· Receive shipments of carpet and other flooring materials, verifying quantities and quality.

· Coordinate with installation teams to pull and load materials for daily installations.

· Regular facility inspections and light repairs as needed. Coordinating with external vendors for facility maintenance and repairs.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

· Operate a forklift and/or manually lift and carry to unload delivery trucks and load installers' vans each morning.

· Manage inventory, ensuring accurate receiving, distribution, and inventory records.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in warehouse management or flooring installation is a plus but not required—training will be provided.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and team members.

· Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Google Workplace, and CRM software.

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites.

· Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

· Compliant results of Lowe’s background screening process.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms; bend, kneel and position themselves on the floor to cut pad. The employee is frequently required to handle manually and feel. The employee must be able to manually and repetitively lift and carry 75 lbs. (e.g., carpet or carpet pad) to move it as needed. The employee will also operate a forklift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing this role the employee is also regularly required to: · Read and comprehend written and typed correspondence including instructions, and to compose and prepare documents, documentation, and correspondence.

· Communicate orally and in writing effectively in English.

· Add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Convert units of measure.

· Apply logic and reasoning, cognitive discernment, problem solving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
