Central Oregon Heavy Construction Superintendent (Full Time)

Public Works and Private Excavation; all phases of street construction; installation of infrastructure (water/sewer/conduit)

Essential Functions:

Read and understand specs and plans

Manage multiple subcontractors issue /manage contracts & change orders

Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, management , and employees

Responsible for conducting and monitoring all work to see it is performed safely and in accordance with the plans, specifications and the schedule; Monitor the on-site performance of subs, suppliers, labor and equipment

Maintain quality control and safety awareness, and enforce job clean ups

Assist in developing a job strategy and project safety plan

Help maintain a current project record including shop drawings, as-builts, etc.

Coordinate and schedule special and permit-required inspections

Assist in successfully closing out a project in a timely, efficient manner

Assist to ensure that all as-builts are properly prepared and presented

Qualifications:

Applicants must have at least 2-5 years experience.
