Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up, maintain and breakdown assigned work station
Complete all assigned prep work in a sanitary and efficient manner
Prepare, cook and present every menu item according to recipes and specifications
Handle food, equipment and facilities in a sanitary, respectful and safe manner
Communicate throughout the shift with the chef, sous chef and management
Receive, prep, cook and store food according to health department regulations
Requirements:
2-3+ years experience as a line cook
Must be enthusiastically interested in food and beverage
must be able Follow direction exactly, complete assignments/prep without complaints, and work hard
Proficient in the English language
Ability to stand for 8+ hours
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, methods and terminology
Ability to comply with health department regulations
Ability to take direction from the chef, sous chef and management
Must be professional, friendly, positive, punctual, teamwork oriented, energetic, organized, thorough and teachable
Flexibility to work various kitchen stations
