Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful software development - and that means rigorous testing. That's why we need you, an experienced software test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test software and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best software possible. As a software test engineer on our team, you'll use your experience to work with other engineering and technical personnel to evaluate software developed for the intelligence community. You'll analyze the building of a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automated and manual processes, you'll generate data and execute the test cases to see how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool.   • 7+ years of experience with testing
  • Experience with technologies, including automated testing scripts
  • Experience in Linux or UNIX environments
  • Experience with working in an Agile development environment using the JIRA bug tracking tool
  • Top Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree
  • Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire
Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux administration
  • Experience with COTS or GOTS automated XML testing tools
  • Experience with configuring applications in Apache Tomcat
  • Experience with TCP/IP socket, FTP, SFTP, and other network protocols
  • Experience with testing analytical functions in Cloud-based architectures and other data
  • Knowledge of government contracting practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph preferred
  • Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
