Sea Logistics Area Revenue Care Manager - Southeast Area

Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Atlanta branch is looking for a Sea Logistics Area Revenue Care Manager to join our team.Your RoleReporting to the National Sea Logistics Revenue Care Manager, dotted line to VP Sea Logistics West Area, you will oversee and develop the area pricing department. Your role involves implementing pricing strategies, focus on driving volume growth with optimized yields, allocation management and enhancing the customer and employee experiences. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze market data, and contribute to pricing excellence within the sea logistics business unit.Your Responsibilities· Yield & Allocation Managemento Overseeing Gross Profit, yield and allocation managemento Identify low-yield accounts, sell value-added services, and manage peak and slack season strategies to optimize yield.· End-to-End Pricing Management:o Effectively manage local/regional Requests for Quotes (RFQ's) and local spot pricing requests.o Develop pricing strategies at trade-lane, client, and area levels.· Develop and Manage Key Performance Indicatorso Set and monitor pricing Key Performance Indicators and productivity.o Developing, implementing, pricing policy within the Area organizationo Develop and adjust standard pricing procedures based on strategic requirements.· Collaboration and Integration:o Work closely with the Leadership team to maintain existing business and win new business.o Collaborate with Trade Managers: Ensure optimization of carrier allocation in accordance with Area demando Collaborate with Leadership: Align on Developing and executing pricing strategies for new and existing customers to optimize profitability.o Integrate and harmonize standard pricing procedures into existing Kuehne+Nagel Standard Operating Procedures.· Strategic Initiatives and Meetings:o Participate in client meetings to assist area sales and assist SME RFQ preparation.o Provide regular news updates to area sales, area sea logistics management, and branch management.o Conduct regular pipeline reviews and trainings with area sales as a sea logistics SME expert, guiding strategic development.· Leadership and Management:o Lead the Area the Pricing Teamo Support and provide leadership to the Area Sea Logistics Organization.Your Skills and Experiences

Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Business/Marketing/Finance/Sales/Management or comparable work experience.

3+ years of experience in a management position with 2 or more direct reports

5+ years of experience in Sea Logistics

You have Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

You have Strong knowledge of MS Office Products

You have the ability to travel for business.

You have the ability to work from the office 5 days per week.
