Folder/Gluer Operator

Cris Ray Printing Corp, a long running family owned and operated company, has an immediate opening for an experienced Folder/Gluer manager/operator at our Farmingdale facility. As we are growing, we are looking to add to our team with someone who is experienced and motivated to grow with us.

This is a full time position, with overtime as needed. Experience in this position is required.

Job Requirements

Ability to read and understand written instructions, including dealing with dimensions and quantity; prior knowledge of folding machine operation, machine function, and set up practices.

Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain the folder/gluer machines on the premises

- Meet job specifications to ensure accuracy of folding and gluing of printed materials

- Performing quality control checks to meet industry and company standards and targets

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines

- Collaborate with other team members to guide and optimize production

- Troubleshooting and maintenance of folder/gluer machines as needed

Qualifications

Previous experience running a folder/glue is a must, be it successful completion of an apprenticeship program or at least three years of job related experience. Please list what machines you have had experience with running when applying. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

We are offering excellent pay and benefits, including a 401k program. Compensation is based on experience, starting at $25+ per hour.
