The integrated full-service solutions leverage a 97-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter.SummaryThe Regional Inventory Planning Manager manages the supply and demand processes across the Northeast Region to improve customer satisfaction, profitability, inventory turns, lead times and working capital. The core functions of the position include strategic and tactical decision-making related to balancing demand and supply; aligning volume and asset mix with capacity and capability; and integrating financial and operating plans within strategic objectives to deliver improved operating and financial results. Additional responsibilities include analysis for distribution, Capex, and transportation that will facilitate decisions around labor and asset needs. The Regional Inventory Planning Manager is responsible for analyzing demand requirements and available inventory to create a fulfillment strategy that provides a maximized customer service experience at the most efficient cost. This role proactively identifies risk and partners with the branches and planning group to develop a best practices solution.This position will support our Supply Chain team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be located in Lanham, MD or Boston, MA; however, we are also open to candidates based out of:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Balances Supply and Demand requirements to ensure that locations have enough inventory within their assigned region to service the business at the best total cost

Reviews forecasted demand for material and equipment requirements for Freeman events. Analyzes data to identify sales trends and collaborates directly with branches and show site personnel on establishing market-based demand plan and any modifications to the plan

Monitors inventory levels equipment for assigned responsibility (local and regional locations). Develops action plans based on inventory analysis to minimize risk or overages and develops safety stock strategy to trigger replenishment

Develops weekly fulfillment schedules to ensure 100% customer service levels across the value stream. Communicates directly with the branch warehouse to confirm equipment status and availability

Conducts risk assessments and develops plans to minimize service disruptions and develops resource stratification plan to mitigate any inventory fluxes

Creates Intercompany transfer orders and communicates with transportation brokers on lead-time and cost to ensure supply levels are maintained, coordinates transportation requirements in support of fulfillment activities

Utilizes planning system to capture all demand generation and requirements fulfillment activities

Participates in the Sales & Operations Planning process

Measures Loss/Damages that occur within the region and perform root cause analysis to develop action plans

Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required with a concentration in Supply Chain or Business preferred

A minimum of seven (7) years of experience, with a minimum of (3) three years of planning or scheduling experience

SAP inventory management preferred
