General Manager Salary Range: $90-$120k

Oversees all Operations including hiring, training, promotion, managing food and liquor costs, quality control, and customer experience to achieve revenue goals and maximize profit.

Position Overview:

The General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maximizing profitability. This role requires a leader who can manage front of the house and back of house seamlessly, create and manage an efficient schedule to blend staff cohesively, maintain high standards of service, and create a vibrant atmosphere that aligns with the brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bar and restaurant management, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the venue, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service.

Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of bartenders, waitstaff, security, and other personnel. Ensure staff adhere to company policies and maintain high levels of professionalism.

Customer Experience: Ensure that all guests receive an exceptional level of service. Address any customer complaints or issues promptly and effectively.

Event Planning: Coordinate and manage special events, theme nights, and VIP parties. Collaborate with marketing and promotions teams to drive attendance and revenue.

Financial Management: Closely monitor and meet all monthly liquor and food percentage costs, and achieve revenue goals. Review Monthly P&L's with ownership, track sales, and implement strategies to increase profitability.

Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the club adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety codes. Maintain a safe environment for both guests and staff.

Vendor Relations: Approve all purchases. Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring the timely delivery of goods and negotiating favorable terms. Oversee AP including managing and negotiating best pricing with all vendors.

Brand Management: Uphold and enhance the club’s reputation by maintaining a high standard of service, ambiance, and overall guest experience.

Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies to attract and retain guests.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Bar and Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-end, upscale venue.

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead by example.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and financial reporting.

In-depth knowledge of New York City nightlife trends, food and liquor cost percentages, and

customer preferences.

Ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.

Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus
