Job description

The Roof Doctor, Inc. has been in business in the Pacific Northwest since 1969. We are one of the top roofing companies in the area and we are currently hiring dependable experienced roofers.

Responsibilities

Transport and load/unload roofing materials in truck.

Lay new roofing materials such as asphalt, wood, metal and pvc.

Inspect roofing for damage and perform any needed repairs.

Treat roofs and buildings for moss removal.

Clean rooftops by removing leaves, ice and other debris.

Install sheathing materials underneath roofs.

Use hand tools such as hammers, electric staplers and other tools.

Qualifications

Physical fitness level that will allow for quick movement, climbing, bending and lifting heavy loads. Must be able to pack 75lb bundles to the roof.

Previous experience in roofing preferred, construction or related scope of work ok

Communication and teamwork skills including an openness to receiving feedback from superiors

General knowledge of roofing procedures, techniques and specialties preferred.

Strong work ethic and desire to perform quality work.

Ability to read and follow instructions from drawings and diagrams.

Endurance to spend hours working in extreme weather conditions such as heat or cold.

Ability to work safely on ladders up to 3 floors and walk roofs stably.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
