Assistant Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:
As an assistant manager you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in Hiring and recruiting staff to meet store demands. Assist GM in delegating duties, assigning tasks, and following up with team members. Must be able to master all positions in the store. Understand all company policies and procedures. Assist GM with ensuring the store is stocked with food items to meet store demands. Must understand the importance of store cleanliness. Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures. Must understand Baggin’s Way and be able to implement this on every shift. Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner. Responsible for the safety of employees and customers within the location. Resolve customer and/or employee problems or complaints in a diplomatic and timely manner. Report all to Corporate Office
Qualifications/Skills:
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of management or supervisory experience in a customer service-driven industry, preferably in restaurants and/or hospitality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, customer-based environment. Demonstrates strong leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Must be willing to work 30-40 hours a week. Must be willing to work nights and weekends. Must be at least 18 years of age. For the Associate Manager position, you must have your vehicle and open availability.
