Helms Bakery Receiving/Stocking Clerk

Our Company: Join our team at our new space at Helms Bakery, owned and operated by Michelin starred Chef Sang Yoon. The multi-concept retail space will include a coffee shop, bakery, deli, and grab & go.

As a Receiving/Stocker Associate, you will be responsible for managing incoming deliveries, organizing stock, and ensuring the inventory is accurately tracked and stored. You’ll work closely with the rest of the team to ensure our shelves and storage areas are fully stocked and products are readily available for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Unload and receive deliveries, ensuring all items are accounted for and match shipping documents.

- Inspect goods for quality and report any discrepancies or damages to management.

- Stock shelves and storage areas with products, ensuring proper organization and labeling.

- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts as needed.

- Ensure items are rotated for freshness and proper stock levels are maintained.

- Assist in organizing and cleaning the storage areas to ensure safety and efficiency.

- Support team members in other areas as needed, including replenishing stock and assisting with order fulfillment.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a retail store environment

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Professional demeanor, appearance, and floor presence

Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
