Service Writer/Advisor
Job Summary: The Service Writer/Advisor liaises with our customers and repair technicians at our shop in Lee County. They schedule service appointments, write cost estimates for repair orders and process warranty work orders. They maintain control until service work is completed and invoiced.
Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates for service work
Process warranties and warranty service work orders
Follow-up with customers requesting service, parts, rentals, and leases
Schedule service appointments geographically in the online calendar
Collect and maintain accurate customer records
Create purchase orders, handle purchasing
Receive inventory and record in QuickBooks
Track repairs and record in QuickBooks
Answer multi-line phone system, checking voicemail system as necessary
Answer and send emails
Process payments
Greet customers in the showroom

Working knowledge of office equipment, i.e., desktop computer, copier, multi-line phone system, and scanner

Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Physical requirements:
Must be able to adjust or move objects up to 80 lbs. in all directions.
Must be able to occasionally move oneself in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces.
Must remain stationary, often sitting or standing for prolonged periods.
Must be able to constantly perform repetitive motions, including wrists, hands, and fingers.
Qualifications for this position:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
1+ years of relevant and recent experience in a service writer/advisor position, mechanic, or parts room background. (Helpful backgrounds include golf carts, car dealerships, ATVs, power sports, and boat dealers).
Experience working with QuickBooks is highly desired but not required
Upon hire, they must be able to provide authorization for their legal right to work in the U.S.
We offer group health insurance and paid time off after the probationary period has been met.
Rate of pay: $24.00-26.00 per hour, paid weekly. Pay is commensurate with experience.

This position is full-time M-F, 7-3:30 PM, and Saturdays, from 9-2 PM.
