Software Engineer, Observability Infrastructure, Traffic Engineering

3+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.Strong Computer Science and development fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.Experience building large-scale software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end software systems and all points in between.Basic Qualifications
4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
3+ years of big data technologies such as AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, Lucene/SOLR or Storm/Samza experience
4+ years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java, C, or C#, including object-oriented design experience
Experience with AWS
Knowledge of Networking

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
