Sous Chef / Line Cook

Aster & Rose Restaurant in Lincolnville is searching for a Sous Chef or Line Cook who's not only skilled in the kitchen but also brings a passion for innovation. We're an upscale restaurant which is all about quality, creativity, and a commitment to scratch-made dishes crafted from fresh, local Maine ingredients.

Overview: As Sous Chef, you'll play an essential role in kitchen operations, assisting Chef to collaborate to develop and update menu items that reflect Aster & Rose's commitment to fresh, scratch-made cuisine. Prep work to ensure we are ready for service. Sous Chef will also help manage the line during service, ensuring smooth operations and flow. We are a small kitchen staff which is great for learning new skills, and contributing creatively.

Looking for year-round Sous Chef. Typical Hours are Tuesday prep day (12-4pm) and Wednesday through Saturday, 1pm-Close (latest 10pm).
