OVERVIEWThe University of St. Thomas Political Science Department invites applications for an adjunct faculty member to teach two undergraduate courses in the Spring 2025 semester: POLS 104: Government and Politicsand POLS 350: Comparative Politics of Europe. Preference will be given to a part-time colleague who can teach both courses, but we will also consider applicants who would prefer to teach just one of the available courses. Both courses are taught two days a week in person in the late afternoon.Information about the Department/College:The political science department at the University of St. Thomas focuses on rigorous undergraduate education in the field. Our students learn to analyze political phenomena – domestic and international – through intensive study of the political science discipline and its varied subfields of American politics, judicial politics, comparative politics and international relations. Our graduates go out into the world with specialized knowledge and the skills to learn more, integrate facts and frameworks, and analyze political events in a challenging, pluralistic, and diverse world.
