Job Summary:

Our well-established general dental practice is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Associate to join our team for two days per week with future opportunities. The ideal candidate will bring high-quality patient care and support our mission of providing excellent oral health services to the community.

We are currently a single doctor, multiple hygienist office looking for another member to join our team who may be interested in an ownership role in the future. This is not a corporate job.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Perform a full range of dental procedures including exams, fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, and preventive care. This will include doing some of your own hygiene to start.

Treatment Planning: Collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment plans based on their unique needs and goals.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and comprehensive dental records for all patients, adhering to confidentiality and compliance standards.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with dental assistants, hygienists, office staff, and local specialists to ensure a smooth and positive patient experience.

Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements: Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.

Licensure: Active and clean dental license in Oregon.

Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a general dentist is strongly preferred, though those with less experience may be considered.

Skills: Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills; a caring and patient-focused approach with a friendly and lighthearted demeanor.
