Fixed schedule required. Wednesday-Saturday nights 4:30pm-close.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expediter to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are processed efficiently and accurately, enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Coordinate and manage the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery.

Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to clarify order details and resolve any discrepancies.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expediting area to promote efficiency.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.

Assist in training new staff on proper expediting procedures and customer service standards.

Help maintain a positive atmosphere in the restaurant by working collaboratively with all team members.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred.

Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.

Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and helping others within the team.

Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business needs.
