They are tied to a Healthcare Delivery system and are responsible for helping engage Volunteers and/or work with the Community.

Primary Responsibilities:
Interact with participants to create a welcoming atmosphere
Ensure activities are scheduled to meet the physical, intellectual, social and emotional needs of participants
Lead activities and classes as needed
Manage relationships with contracted instructors
Engage surrounding community to attract new participants to programs
The Community Outreach Coordinator will act as both the site coordinator and the fitness expert for the Chandler Optum Community Center. They will develop programs, provide oversight for all the vendors, teach classes, ensure proper use of exercise equipment.You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:
High school education or equivalent experience
CPR/AED or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
Certified fitness instructor, personal trainer or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Proven excellent interpersonal communication
