ResponsibilitiesProgram Strategy (40%)

Recruitment strategies: Develop and implement strategic and inclusive approaches to attract top-tier graduate and undergraduate candidates. Build partnerships with Ross and SEAS Admissions departments; deliver recruiting presentations; participate in student meetings; travel to national and international recruiting events; track applications through admissions processes; manage undergraduate application review and selection processes; and onboard students.

Program design and strategy: Deliver graduate and undergraduate programs including action-based learning opportunities and experiences, internship funding and other career development pathways, and other signature activities.

Student Experience (40%)

Co-curricular offerings: Organize and host business sustainability workshops and speakers as co-curricular learning opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students.

Student learning: Enhance the institute's action- and place-based learning opportunities.

Student life: Advise student leadership and support their programming for professional development, personal well-being, and community-building. Lead the planning of the institute's community engagement activities including orientation and graduation.

Network building: Develop collaborative relationships with a variety of partner to enhance graduate and undergraduate learning. Represent the institute and deliver content as an instructor, guest speaker, or panelist in education, business, and environment events.

Management, Finance & Administration (20%)

Supervision: Manage two full-time direct-report coordinators, helping them to achieve professional development goals.

Finance: Execute the Student Affairs budget; approve expenditures, student scholarship, and funding disbursements; allocate expenses to the institute's donor funds; and provide financial reporting to Ross Finance and Financial Aid.

Administration: Manage student and alumni data.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience required.

Demonstrated project management and administrative skills.

Experience designing and delivering higher education student programming and learning.

Experience building relationships with diverse groups inside and outside the organization.

Experience preparing and delivering presentations.

Experience in fiscal management and in preparing and monitoring budgets.

Proficiency in Google docs, sheets and slides and Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint plus other database, email and calendar-keeping software and technologies is required.

This posting range reflects multiple factors involved in determining compensation, such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and other organizational needs. At Ross, it is not common for new hires to be offered a salary at the upper end of the range .
