ROLE PURPOSE Responsible for developing applications, ensuring consistent quality of software solutions by developing and maintaining core modules of Glory platforms. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES § Works within the development team to develop software solutions with a focus on quality, scalability, and reliability: Design/develop high integrity software for self-service devices § Build and test applications, back-end integrations, as well as kiosk peripheral integrations using industry standards § Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. § Collaborate closely with QA and Ops functions to build cross-functional knowledge § Work closely with product owners and scrum master to complete sprint planning, actively participate in scrums and deliver results each sprint. § Work closely with global professional services and QA teams to deliver high quality customer integrations utilizing Glory Dynamix platform § Learn and understand software and security standards for financial industry § Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. § Participate in management meetings, providing reports on project progress, proactively communicating project risk, issues and solutions. § Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process. § Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members § Support and lead delivery of other projects as required. EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE § Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or associated disciplines (strongly preferred) § Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience § Extensive experience with Windows /.Net / C# development environment § High proficiency in REST API / system integrations § Any experience in WPF, MVVM, and WCF development § Working knowledge of C and Win32 programming (advantageous) § Working knowledge of JavaScript and HTML (advantageous) § Any development experience with self-service devices such as kiosks, ATMs, POS systems REQUIRED COMPETENCIES General Characteristics § Independently applies extensive and diversified knowledge principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields. § Uses advanced techniques in the modification or extension of theories and practices of sciences and disciplines to complete assignments. § Works on major projects or several projects of moderate scope with complex features. § Adopts a logical/methodical approach to work. § Demonstrates cultural understanding.
