Experienced Amada press brake operator wanted
Education and/or Experience Needs:
Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings for instructions.
Familiarity with Amada RG press brakes encouraged.
Minimum three years press brake operation experience required.
Detail oriented and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Mounts/installs/aligns and secures tool fixtures using hand tools and precision measuring instrument.
Inputs central instructions into machine control units to start operation.
Listens to the machines during operation in order to detect sounds made by dull tools or excessive vibration.
Adjusts, corrects, or discontinues use of machines to eliminate problems.
Measures dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance of specifications using precision measuring instruments, templates, or fixtures.
Has knowledge of setting up and maintaining Amada press brakes.
Maintains and operates machines in a safe environment.
Updates job traveler as applicable.
Verifies required count and quality of parts prior to the next operation.
Works in a team environment

Physical Demands
Work is performed in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
While preforming these job duties the employee will be required to stand 90% of the time and walk 10%.
Must be able to carry and/or lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
While preforming the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to use hand to finger dexterity, handle or feel objects, touch, and use tools, reach with arms and hands, climb stairs, bend, stoop, twist, lift, reach, push, pull, grasp, balance, kneel, crouch, grasp, talk, hear, and walk during the course of the employment.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and an ability to adjust focus.
A hands-on machine setup and bending test will be required during interview.
