Description As the HR Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the company’s culture and supporting its growth. You will oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with state and federal employment regulations. We are looking for someone who is not only an HR expert but also a strategic partner in driving Cosm’s business goals through innovative people practices. Key Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Manage employee relations and foster a positive work environment through conflict resolution, coaching, and development. Administer benefits programs and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations. Lead performance management initiatives, including evaluations, development plans, and succession planning. Provide HR support and guidance to management and staff to align business strategies with people strategies. Ensure compliance with all HR-related legal requirements, including wage and hour laws, leave administration, and workplace safety. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support company culture and drive employee engagement. Handle disciplinary actions and terminations as necessary, ensuring consistency and compliance with company policy Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in human resources, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of California labor laws and HR best practices. Experience with HR software and payroll systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
