Accounting Assistant

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in Miami, Florida. The job function lies within the Amusement/Recreation Ser/Entertainment industry, where you will be assisting the accounting team with various administrative tasks. Responsibilities: Scanning documents and maintaining an organized filing system for easy retrieval Assisting with check runs to ensure timely and accurate payment Supporting the accounting team with various administrative tasks to facilitate efficient operation Performing data entry tasks to update and maintain accounting data Utilizing accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks Handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to manage company finances Conducting Account Reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data Processing invoices accurately and efficiently Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting Conducting billing operations to ensure accurate invoicing and payment collection. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Billing procedures and Data Entry tasks Prior experience in Invoice Processing is a must Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks Experience with Oracle financial software is required Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software Proficiency in using SAP for accounting tasks Relevant experience in the Amusement/Recreation Ser/Entertainment industry is preferred Prior experience in a similar role, such as Accounting Assistant, is a plusPlease contact brenda.arce@roberthalfRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
