Location: Patuxent River, Maryland

Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required - U.S. citizenship required

Salary: $100,000 - $160,000 Depending on Experience and Education

Travel: 5%

Position Summary

SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a JSE V&V Data Scientist to support our Patuxent Area Operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities of JSE V&V Data Scientist

Modeling and Simulation Verification and Validation using data science tools and skills.

Conduct Data Mining, Data Analysis, Data Transformation, and Data Visualization on large data sets (Big Data).

Research and apply data science techniques to assess, extract, evaluate, and compare M&S outputs with representative real-world referents (reference data).

Develop applications to automate solutions

Minimum Qualifications of JSE V&V Data Scientist Bachelor's Degree in STEM related field and 1-5 years of relevant experience. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.

Primary Knowledge & Skills Desired

Experience with data mining, data wrangling, data analysis, data transformation, data visualization.

Experience or exposure to statistics; modeling and simulation; verification, validation, and accreditation.
