Facilities TechnicianAdecco is now hiring for one of the largest health food and supplement companies, and this is your chance to work with them in the San Fernando Valley! This is temporary assignment.This position will be responsible for performing a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled work to maintain/repair facilities, fixtures, and furniture.Responsibilities:

Uses a variety of hand and portable power tools, material handling equipment and machine tools to accomplish the following.

Repairs facilities, including removal and replacement of drywall, tile, and floors; and paint walls and woodwork.

Repairs and installs fixtures including hanging boards and doors; replaces/repairs lighting and performing minor, related electrical work.

Performs plumbing duties; inspect, install, and replace pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain compressed air, water, gas, and drainage systems; cuts, bends, threads pipe; fits pipes with adjoining assemblies; caulks leaks, opens clogged drains; installs sinks and toilets.

Identifies needed supplies/materials and requisitions them.

Performs duties in compliance with standard operating and safety procedures.

Assists in moving furniture, files, and other equipment from one location to another.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED.

Must have two years prior facilities maintenance training and experience.

Ability to manually lift up to 50 lbs.

Working knowledge of facilities, furniture, plumbing and fixture repair and skill in operating associated tools.

Fluent English skills to understand and apply complex maintenance manual procedures. Communicate with supervisors and others; and maintain various routine records.

Be able to stand/walk and perform physical labor for most of the working shift. Pull, push, squat, etc. to accomplish repairs.

Intermittently lift loads of up to 50 pounds.
