Warehouse WorkerJob DescriptionCompiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked. Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records, manually or using a computer. Verifies computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports discrepancies. Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies and computes inventory balance, price, and cost. Prepares reports, such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages. Assists with stocking and shipping/receiving functions.Responsibilities

Count material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and post totals to inventory records, manually or using a computer.
Verify computations against physical count of stock and adjust errors in computation or count, or investigate and report discrepancies.
Compile information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies and compute inventory balance, price, and cost.
Prepare reports such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.
Assist with stocking and shipping/receiving functions.
Essential Skills
Minimum 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year of experience with shipping and receiving.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Knowledge of inventory management procedures including stocking and reorder points, inventory control, and shipping/receiving procedures.
