Foot Care Nurse - R.N. or L.P.N. Part Time

Senior Footcare Inc. is a small, established family run business that has been providing services to the Pierce County area since 1981. We are looking for an R.N. or L.P.N. to provide routine, preventive foot care for our patients at our office in Tacoma as well as some Retirement/Assisted Living facilities and home visits. This is a part-time, no stress position with flexible hours (weekdays only, no evenings or holidays). This is a perfect position for someone who is tired of the stress of nursing or maybe thinking of retiring but wants to keep their license active and give back to the Senior Community.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

Provide foot care services for Seniors, Diabetics and others who are in need of care for their feet at our office in Tacoma and clinics which consists of traveling to Senior and Community Centers, Retirement Homes, Assisted Living Facilities and Adult Family Homes. We also provide Home Visits.

Will be responsible for trimming toe nails and also providing non-invasive treatment of corns and callouses. Also assessing feet for circulation, sensation and edema issues, offering practical tips for self-care and referring to podiatrists and physicians as needed.

Complete paperwork at clinics including scheduling appointments, receiving payments and various other light duties. Will also be coordinating and communicating with staff at the facilities.

Need to be a self motivated, compassionate team player who is able to multi-task. Must enjoy working with Seniors and understand the value of customer service in senior care.

Prior foot care experience is not required, we will train.
