Industrial Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionThis job description has been prepared as a guide to ensure better communication, clear expectations, and understanding of the role of Industrial Maintenance. All responsibilities have not been included; Supervisors may from time to time ask the Maintenance Technician to perform other related duties not specifically included in this description. This description will be reviewed annually by the Department Manager and revised if needed to meet the business needs.Responsibilities
Maintain and repair all types of equipment and building infrastructures.
Correct mechanical, electrical, hydraulic problems, and report concerns to shift Team Lead if unresolved.
Recommend changes to existing and new tooling, prototypes, and fixtures to ensure better quality parts.
Maintain, inspect, repair, and adjust trim fixtures, assemble fixtures, and support equipment as necessary to ensure employee safety and product quality.
Follow documented processes for MRO parts sign out and part removal.
Adhere to lockout/tag out procedures and safety rules 100% of the time.
Ensure continuous communication with the supervisor about all job-related matters and actively share job information with other personnel to avoid misunderstandings.
Contribute to a work environment free from harassment, promoting fairness, equity, and non-discriminatory practices.
Adhere to the Quality Policy and Environmental Policy as they relate to ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), ISO 14001:2015 (EMS), and IATF 16949 (AQMS).
