Project Managers - Restoration and Construction (Greater Phoenix Area)
We are a well-established Mitigation and Reconstruction business working within the insurance restoration industry. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager and Estimator.in the mitigation and construction industry.
Job Description: The familiarity and use of Xactimate is required in reviewing and the creation of estimates and supplements in Xactimate, as well as the management of construction projects. The Project Manager will work closely with homeowners, property managers, and commercial customers to oversee and coordinate subcontractors, as well as in house personnel. The PM will be equally responsible for monitoring the quality of the workmanship, customer service, permits and safety of the workers.
Job Requirements:
Coordinates project planning and implementation, including assessing costs and project requirements.
Review contracts, correspondence, and proposed scope of work
Participates in project budget planning and development.
Establishes project work plan and calendar or schedules; monitors, reviews, and evaluates progress.
Manages the work of the field staff, and coordination of the subcontractors, Familiarity with local subcontractors is a plus
Coordinates and attends meetings; establishes and maintains internal and external contacts as necessary.
Ensures schedules are maintained and being met
Monitor budgets and costs and ensure they are being met
Takes necessary action to minimize expenses and maximize profits while maintaining high level of quality and customer service.
Thorough understanding of contractor documentation, subcontractor agreements, blueprints, plans and Xactimate estimates
Able to help creates estimates through Xactimate, create change orders and ensure they are within the budget and established guidelines.
Able to multitask and run multiple projects at a time
Schedule projects with the clients, subcontractors, and field technicians.
Resolve issues from customers, field construction, and materials management
Review and submit invoices for payment and collection.
Facilitate customer expectations by developing lines of communication between all parties involved
Maintain and update the Daily Project Reports documenting the progress of the project as well as noting any problem areas that affect the timely completion of the planned activities
Maintain a high level of customer service through positive relations with the customers, staff, and sub-contractors
Qualifications / Skills
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Projects, and Outlook
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Xactimate, able to create supplements and Change Orders
· Effective organizational and time management skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· Accurate and detail oriented
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and relate effectively, productively, and positively with other Associates.
· Must have a clean background, pass a drug test
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction
· Construction Experience, minimum 5 years
· No Felonies or Convictions
· Valid Driver’s license
