1. Part Time Job Coach - $15.50/hr
Schedule: Mon-Sun, between the hours of 6am-11pm, 4 hour shifts between 20-25 hours a week
General Position Summary:
Provides on-the-job transition and retention supports to program participants in various community work settings. Assists in the disability awareness education of community employers. Assists community employers in the identification and development of natural supports within their businesses.
Requirements
Minimum of one (1) year experience working with/providing training to individuals with disabilities with preference given to those with prior experience in community settings.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication, customer service, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with sign language skills desirable.
Ability to conduct assessment instruments and identify natural supports and eliminate barriers.
Ability to train/instruct diverse workforce.
Ability to model good work practices.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Skills in judgment, decision-making, and balancing multiple priorities.
Ability to actively participate in team development and team-oriented processes.
Physical and mental ability to operate a calculator and computer hardware/software.
Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of current vehicle insurance.
Physical ability to stand, walk, twist, bend, kneel, grasp, handle (including repetitive motion of shoulders/wrists/hands), reach, kneel occasionally during normal workday.
Physical ability to occasionally push/pull/lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
Physical ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification as required.
Ability to work evenings and weekends occasionally
Duties:
Positive role model for program participants.
Provides hands-on support to the individual while they transition into a new job.
Provides on-going support to the individual as they work at retaining and growing in their job.
Educates and supports the employer as they become more knowledgeable about disabilities and necessary accommodations.
Assists community employers in the identification and development of natural supports to meet the needs of the individual.
Provides the necessary hands-on support at the community work experience or placement site to ensure a positive outcome for the employer, individual, and referral source.
Maintains effective communication with the individual, employer, referral source, and designated staff.
Effectively performs all required documentation and record keeping.
2. Custodian- $14.90/hr
Schedule: 3:00 PM and 3:00 AM, Monday to Saturday
Performs custodial duties to fulfill custodial services contract requirements according to customer specifications. Performs
all tasks in a safe manner and meets quality standards.
Performs custodial duties such as vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, removing trash, and other miscellaneous services safely
and in compliance with all policies and procedures.
Performs quality assurance.
Provides input on ways the organization can create integrated employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
Participates on and attends committees/teams as assigned.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
3. Electronic Technician- Mon-Fri 7am-330pm shifts. $16 .00/hr
General Position Summary:
Assembles, disassembles, and conducts tests/diagnostics on computer systems and electronic components to evaluate the condition of the equipment and determine if reparable; makes repairs and refurbishes in a timely manner; performs final testing on completed units. Documents work in progress, completed work, and other required information in a timely manner.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Disassembles computer systems and electronic components.
Conducts a variety of diagnostic tests to determine usability of components.
Makes reasonable repairs/refurbishes components for resale, including erasing all existing information from hard drive.
Completes final testing on repaired/refurbished components.
Maintains accurate documentation of all work performed.
Consults with IT staff on technical issues when necessary.
Secondary Functions:
Provides training to employees as needed.
Provides input on ways the organization can create integrated employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
Attends meetings and participates on committees as assigned.
Understands role of R2V3.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience Required:
High school education or equivalent.
Minimum 1-2 years of related experience, with experience in a production setting given preference.
A 2-year degree in computer science or related field OR an equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training may substitute for 1 year or experience.
A+ Certification preferred.
4. Lead Custodian- $15.50/hr
Schedule- 3:00 PM and 3:00 AM, Monday to Saturday
General Position Summary:
Assists Site Custodial Supervisor at assigned site(s), ensuring that customer standards and contract specifications and are fulfilled and within budget. Ensures quality and safety standards are met at all times.
Essential Functions:
Performs custodial duties at assigned site(s).
Leads and directs workers in required custodial duties at assigned sites.
Ensures building security at specified site(s).
Assists supervisor as requested and assigned.
Maintains frequent contact with supervisor throughout shift.
Notifies supervisor of any problems encountered in performance of assigned duties.
Ensures site(s) are cleaned per contract specifications and within established time perimeters.
Ensures safe work practices and compliance with policies and procedures are maintained.
Secondary Functions:
May be requested to transport supplies and crew.
Performs quality assurance.
Provides input on ways the organization can create integrated employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
Attends meetings and participates on teams/committees as assigned.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Specific Job Skills Required:
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to balance working quickly while ensuring quality and maintaining customer service.
Ability to make decisions, use independent judgment and/or take independent action, and provide customer service.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to actively participate in team development and team-oriented processes and
motivate others to do the same.
Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of current vehicle insurance.
Physical ability to operate custodial equipment, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, reach overhead, climb stairs, and make repetitive motions of the arms/hands.
Physical ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds, to lift to 150 pounds with
assistance, and to carry up to 40 pounds regularly throughout a normal workday.
Excellent attention to detail.
Education and/or Experience Required:
A minimum of 6-12 months experience/training in general custodial service.
A minimum of 6-12 months experience directing others in assigned duties.
High school education or equivalent.
