Description We are in search of a diligent Paralegal to be a part of our team in Deerfield, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for managing annual report filings, overseeing invoice processing, and coordinating with various department heads. You will also manage the corporate governance work and maintain relationships with legal service providers.Responsibilities: Manage the preparation of annual report filings for various legal entities. Oversee the process of legal invoice processing. Establish and maintain strong, detail oriented relationships with legal service providers. Manage the corporate governance work within the organization. Coordinate with various department heads for efficient communication and workflow. Review Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) as necessary. Handle additional job duties as they are assigned. Develop and manage efficient filing systems to ensure smooth operations. Utilize technologies such as Microsoft Office to enhance productivity and efficiency. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Paralegal role Proficiency in using Aderant software for legal practice management Demonstrable skills in Adobe Acrobat for PDF management Experience with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) Familiarity with Case Management Software to manage legal cases and client records Proficiency in using CompuLaw, a legal calendar software Experience with Billing Functions within a legal environment Ability to prepare Briefings for legal proceedings Strong skills in Calendar Management to manage appointments and deadlines Proven experience in Claim Administration Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal Experience with Document Review in a legal setting Ability to prepare Annual Reports for legal entities Experience in the preparation of Annual Meeting - Annual Reports Understanding of Corporate Governance principles and practices Proven experience in Invoice Processing Familiarity with Filing systems and practices within a legal environment Proficiency in Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience with Office 365 for collaboration and productivity.
