Description We are in search of a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. The successful candidate will manage a range of human resources functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and staff compensation, to create an environment that supports the personal growth of our team members. This role requires a high level of detail oriented service, with a focus on maintaining accurate records and resolving inquiries efficiently.Responsibilities: Develop and implement employment policies and procedures, ensuring they align with current state and federal laws Manage the annual benefits open enrollment process, including evaluating our current benefit plan design and providers Conduct employee re-enrollment/education sessions, provide claims assistance and resolution, and handle change reporting and invoice reconciliation Oversee recruitment for exempt and non-exempt personnel, students, and contract employees, which includes conducting interviews, extending offers, and conducting reference and background checks Implement and update the staff compensation program annually, analyze compensation, and administer performance evaluation program for staff and associate attorneys Develop and implement training programs for non-attorney staff and assist with attorney training programs Establish and maintain personnel records and reports in both physical and electronic formats Oversee daily workflow issues to ensure attorneys have the support they need Develop, implement, and maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Process timesheets and prepare payroll files for the Accounting Department Process unemployment and worker’s compensation claims and manage annual audits Assist with planning Firm events, summer associate events, staff socials, etc. Requirements Proven experience with ADP - Financial Services Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode Familiarity with Ceridian software Understanding of HCM (Human Capital Management) Experience in managing Benefit Functions Excellent Communication skills Strong understanding of Compliance laws and regulations Experience in handling Employee Relations Knowledge of efficient Hiring Processes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
