This portfolio is supplemented by "Beyond Paint Solutions", which enable new applications with innovative surfaces.We are looking for a professional like you to join our team! As a specialist of Resins Product Management, you will provide management to a complex portfolio of intermediates (resins) to achieve cost competitiveness for the E-coat, Primer, Basecoat and Clearcoat layers and ultimately for ECO in the Americas. You will be instrumental in developing a cost optimization strategy (in-house production vs. outsourcing) for the resins portfolio without compromising quality and supply security.You create chemistry by
Engaging with the Technical and Procurement teams to manage and optimize our resins toolbox by coordinating complexity reduction efforts through analysis of costs, quality, and supply security.
Conducting market and competitive research to understand the resins market as well as industry market trends and unmet market needs.
Successfully engaging across the business, you will collaborate globally with Supply Chain and Manufacturing to manage resins’ capacity and drive projects to fulfill it with IP relevant resins that provide value to our formulations.
Engaging with Resin team, Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, Development & Customized lab and Technical project management & Account colleagues to ensure seamlessly launch/introduction of new resins to achieve business plan objectives.
Tracking raw material cost development and assess our risk profile of current supply position for resins.
If you
Have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering or Marketing equivalent blend of knowledge and experience. MBA is preferred.
Have at least 2-3 years of experience/professional background in Product Management, Marketing, Technical or Sales within the Automotive Industry (strongly preferred).
Strong communication (verbal and written) skills and attention to detail will ensure our business teams to make informed decisions based on facts/data.
Strong Excel, PowerPoint and SAP capabilities to ensure effective costing analysis, development of strategic content, etc.
