Payroll Process SME – III (Senior)
Our client, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in USA is looking for a Payroll Process SME - III at Rahway, NJJob Title: Payroll Process SME – III (Senior)Duration: 3 Month ContractLocation: Rahway, NJ (This will be a Hybrid position for 3 days)Hours: M-F 8am-5pmPay Rate: $92 per hourAlso, the emphasis we are looking for is on process improvements in terms of automation or streamlining a process as well as payroll knowledge/expertise with a focus on being able to provide best practices to leverage within our client’s US payroll operations as we look to tighten up our controls and process execution.Education:
Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 8+yrs of applicable experience
Required:
Knowledge of ADP Technology ev6, Workday, MS Office
Candidate would need to be subject matter expert (SME) in ADP functionality
Experience working with large global organizations (Position will be U.S. focused so experience with large organizations within the U.S. is the priority).
Experience providing guidance on payroll best practices (i.e. knowledge of variance reports and other “checks and balances”)
Experience speaking with vendors (i.e. ADP, E&Y, Fidelity)
End-to-End payroll processing experience
Process Improvement Mindset
Sr Level Project Lead in Payroll Ideal Candidate:
Able to articulate their role
Has attention to detail
Able to work well within a well-established team
End-to-End Payroll knowledge with an emphasis on payroll processing
Ability to assist with change management
Experience with Service Now Ticket system helpful
Responsibilities:
The selected individual will not be processing payroll.
Will need understanding of underlying processes and how these can be applied at our client.
Individual would be expected to ask questions and challenge the status quo.
Selected individual will partner with team to review processes and recommend best practices and industry knowledge.
Should be able to utilize knowledge of both leadership and hands-on experience to provide consultant-style, end-to-end, payroll process improvement guidance.
