OverviewWould you like to start your career in a busy emergency department?We at M Health Fairview are looking for an energetic, motivated individual to join out transport team in our Emergency Department at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN. Plus we have the ability to share these with our hiring leaders directly.Responsibilities Job DescriptionThe transport aide is responsible for:

Transport patients between the Emergency Department (ED) and designated departments for treatment, admission, or discharge.

Transport patient supplies and patient medical equipment from one department to another.

Maintain patient treatment areas for new patients.

Assist patients and families with orientation, discharge, providing comfort and safety as well as high quality patient care.

Assist with bathing, dressing, undressing, ambulating, and acquiring specimens from patients and reporting changes to the nursing staff.

QualificationsRequirements:Current BLS certificationDo you have Nursing Assistant training or EMT and experience? Even better!We believe those that exceed in this role also exhibit these characteristics: High standard of creative prioritization skills and priority setting. Shown focus on customer service/patient service with every interaction. Excellent public relations and interpersonal/communication skills. Work as an effective team member to deliver outstanding care. Ability to use appropriate computer applications. Capable of working independently, demonstrate critical thinking skills. Ability to accept change and empower those around you to engage in ongoing process improvement.
