Are you looking to work hard and ski hard this winter? The Bierstube on Big Mountain are looking for a couple of swampers this winter. This is a great job for the right person!

The Bierstube, located in the village at Whitefish Mountain Resort, is a classic North American ski bar. We are a PRIVATELY RUN, team-based operation, and are high volume, especially when it snows!

Our swampers are an invaluable part of our operation. The responsibilities are to clean the entire facility before we open for business at 11 everyday. This entails sweeping and mopping both the front of the house and kitchen, cleaning the bathrooms, and light snow removal directly outside the facility. This typically takes 2-3 hours, giving you the rest of the day to play in the snow! A strong work ethic and the ability to work unsupervised are mandatory. We offer competitive wages that are higher than industry standards, as well as tips. We also offer a ski-pass, full access to our heated employee ski lockers, big discounts on food and beverage at our facility, as well as mountain-wide discounts on everything.

We value our employees as individuals. Availability is very important, but we are flexible with our scheduling when possible. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. A passion for winter sports is a must!
