Operator - Die Cutter Lead

Reasonable accommodations may be made, upon request, to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.· Set up and operate designated die cutting machine· Use the proper personal protective equipment required to perform the job duties.· Work as a team with fellow team members to achieve the departmental goals in safety, quality, and efficient operation of the equipment.· Assist in training new team members on all equipment and processes.· Read and understand order schedules and work orders for current and upcoming jobs including specifications.· Maintain accurate production reporting· Perform Pre-Start Inspections of the machine and material to ensure that safe operation will begin.· Perform all quality checks and make machine adjustments during start up.· Plan and make sure the needed material is ready for production when needed.· Perform periodic visual quality checks of the material throughout the run and adjust the Die· Ensure zero defects are sent to the customer.· Perform sampling and quality checking throughout the run· Perform daily and periodic cleaning of the machine and department to maintain 5S and GMP/SQF standards throughout the manufacturing area.· Perform preventative maintenance on the Tool to prevent premature wear of the moving parts.· Observe and make recommendations on all issues regarding safety, quality, waste, and production efficiency.The above reflects the duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the position and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all work that may be assigned or that may be inherent in the position.QualificationsBehaviorsPreferred
