Lead Parking Valet Driver

Proactively approach, greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service.Primary Duties:
Greet all guests; inquire about destination; give directions.
Organize “next car parked” and distribute keys to valet team.
Authorize valet breaks and communicate shift change needs.
Predict and communicate traffic flow peaks and lot issues.
Coordinate traffic flow in designated valet lane as needed.
During peak times, operate, park and retrieve all vehicles in a safe manner by obeying all traffic laws, facility policies, and applicable pedestrian regulations.
Ensure each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and thanking everyone.
Keep work areas clean of debris.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
Able to act independently and make accurate decisions.
Ability to control flows of traffic and valet lanes.
High degree of attention required preventing injury to others and damaging to vehicles when operating vehicles to and from location.
Ability to demonstrate exceptional service and interpersonal skills that are interpreted as positive and customer service oriented.
Understand and respond appropriately to basic customer and employee inquiries.
Qualifications:
Ability to communicate valet information and policies in a manner easily understood by guests.
Ability to support and maintain expectations within policy and procedure guidelines.
Ability to act independently and make accurate decisions, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in an environment that is not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes with exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy weather conditions for long periods of time.
Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Ability to operate both standard and automatic transmission.
