$25 per hour dayshift weekdays (MUST BE WILLING TO BE ON CALL outside of weekdays 7am-4pm or 9am-6pm shifts). $30 per hour on call if required (4 hour minimum). OT is available!

Maintenance Techs will help with clean-up and repair throughout the detention center including toilets, walls, paint and other surface and facility upgrades in secured areas.

Must have experience using hand tools and doing general handyman and maintenance work. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Transportation and clean work attire required.

Background check required.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance. Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various machinery and equipment.

Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems.

Fabricate parts as needed to maintain equipment functionality.

Supervise and lead maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Utilize logic controllers for diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

Operate tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical testing.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal facility operations.

Experience

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.

Experience in welding and fabricating components is a plus.

Leadership skills with the ability to supervise projects effectively.

Proficiency in English for clear communication within the team.

Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical troubleshooting techniques is advantageous.
