BAR MANAGER - BUSY fall/winter season
Busy bar in West End/TD Garden area looking for a bar manager who has good experience in both classic cocktails and leading a team. Very busy fall/winter season.
The focus of the bar program is classic cocktails as well as a rotating mostly local craft beer list. Candidates should possess a strong knowledge of classic mixology, spirits, and craft beer.
Main responsibilities include:
- hiring and training new bar staff
- ensuring bar team is following all recipes and service standards
- input on seasonal cocktail menu changes
- key holder - responsibly close the bar and handle cash drops
- managing the floor on GM or assistant manager off days
This is a full time position where you will be on bar 3-4 shifts per week with the remaining 1-2 shifts per week on floor or admin. The bar closes at 1am Sun-Wed and 2am Fri-Sat.
