Job Title: Quality Control SupervisorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Supervisor to oversee quality personnel and ensure that production meets all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will efficiently perform tasks as requested by the Quality Manager, monitor environmental and material information to detect problems, and communicate relevant information to maintain compliance with regulations.Responsibilities

Train new and current employees on company procedures, policies, ethics, and safety measures.

Provide support and guidance to team members to ensure effective performance.

Review employee productivity and performance, recommending improvements to meet quality standards.

Update and review for cGMP compliance.

Participate in sanitation efforts.

Ensure projects are completed on time.

Stay current with new government regulations and understand the intent of cGMPs.

Lead presentations and cGMP training sessions.

Ensure compliance with business regulations and enforce them when needed.

Essential Skills

Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for effective manufacturing.

Strong interpersonal skills, effective written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to interact with all levels of management.

Ability to prioritize workload and manage time to complete multiple projects within established timelines.

Conducting tests and inspections to evaluate quality.

Proficiency in computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook.

Understanding written sequences and paragraphs in work-related documents.

Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.

Ability to identify and address problems.

Visual color discrimination to detect differences between colors and brightness.

Perpetual speed to compare similarities and differences quickly and accurately.

Reading and understanding information and ideas presented in writing.

Arranging things or actions in a specific order according to rules.

Math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Assist in ensuring all permits and licenses are obtained and up to date.

Assist in internal and external audits.

Supervise and perform chemical laboratory analysis as required.

Manage electronic and hardcopy files of testing procedures of products/materials.

Manage label control process.

Review and approve production batch records.

Assist in managing the CAPA system and deviations.

Assist in managing the HACCP program.

Regulate calibration schedules for equipment.

Maintain weekly reports to the Quality Manager.

Comply with all company policies.

Perform other duties as required.

Have good verbal communication skills and provide constructive criticism.

Abide by the guidelines of SQF and GMP.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is professional and fast-paced, requiring the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision. Compliance with cGMP, Standard Operating Procedures, FDA, USDA, OSHA, Hazmat, and other regulatory bodies is mandatory.
