R00937619 Asset Program Owner, Manager Asset & Risk Mgt – Supplemental Gas Job SummaryA single person that will plan, manage and track asset management plans under the direction of Asset Class Owners. This includes oversite of plan performance and execution on an ongoing basis. Must assess risks and identify work that optimizes safety, reliability, and affordability for the asset class.Essential Functions
Maintains the annual and long-term asset management plan for the Supplemental Gas asset class (Underground Storage, LNG, and propane distribution systems)
Maintains awareness of regulations and compliance requirements as they apply to the asset portfolio in general and to the asset management plan for the specific asset class specifically
Measures asset class performance
Analyzes mitigation program costs and makes recommendations on cost reduction initiatives
Performs data analysis on the asset class and monitor the risk register
Manages multi-year asset management plans incorporating all capital and expense adjustments
Preparation of inputs and recommendations for the Asset Class Owners ranking and prioritization process
Provides rate case and data request support
AssistAsset Class owner in developing and implementing strategic direction of Asset Class
Will develop presentations and present to multiple levels of leadership
This is a leadership position and will have integrity engineers reporting to them.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, BusinessAnalytics, or Business Administration. Additional degrees will be considered.
4-6 years Equivalent NiSource experience with at least five (5) years of asset integrity management, field engineering, and/or operations experience
Experience in project controls, project management, program management, and portfolio management
Strong analytical skills with ability to understand data collection requirements
Skilled in data analysis and ability to interpret data trends, and data driven understanding of risk in the asset class
Project design skills to assess scope, risks, effectiveness and financial impacts
Knowledge of gas utility and field operations
Strong and resourceful in analytical problem-solving
Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
Ability to stay current and anticipate future challenges and recommend appropriate action
Strong communication skills both written and oral
Ability to forecast requirements and plan according to foreseen risks and contingencies
Monitor and drive continual improvement in meeting asset class KPIs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Underground Storage Operations
Familiarity with SIMP
Previous process safety and pant operations experience
Experience with Power Bi
Advanced degree
