Located in Greenpoint - Eavesdrop serves up craft cocktails, natural wines, small plates, and music in a space designed for sound. Our mission is to bring Brooklyn’s community of listeners, artists, and curators together in a cozy neighborhood environment that lends itself more to listening than to dancing. We believe that with the right DJ, sound system, atmosphere, and above all hospitality, music of all kinds can be celebrated and experienced anew.

About the Role: We are looking for a Sunday barback, with frequent opportunity for coverage on other nights. As a Barback at Eavesdrop, you’ll play a crucial support role, helping our bartenders deliver an unforgettable experience for our guests. This is a fantastic opportunity to work behind the scenes in a high-energy environment while learning the ropes of a top-tier cocktail program.

What You’ll Do:

Support the Bartenders: Keep the bar stocked with ingredients, glassware, ice, and other essentials, ensuring everything runs smoothly; bussing, running through the dishwasher, and polishing glassware throughout the night; frequent juicing, syrup batching, and bath bottle replenishment throughout the shift.

Keep It Clean: Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout service.

Assist with Prep: Prepare garnishes, stock supplies, and contribute to the bar’s setup and breakdown.

What We’re Looking For:

A team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for hospitality

Ability to stay on your feet for long hours and lift 30+ lbs

Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Previous barback experience is required.
