Cambria Christmas Market Banquet/Pastry Chef
Are you counting down the days until the Christmas holidays? Do you love working with people in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season? The beautiful Cambria Christmas Market at the Cambria Pines Lodge is currently seeking an experienced full-time Banquet/Pastry Chef to join our culinary team who remains positive. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 - 5 years of banquet cooking/commercial baking experience and an expansive knowledge of recipes and techniques. Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, work collaboratively with kitchen staff and be well versed in meat preparation, banquet cooking techniques as well as be enthusiastic, creative and professional. Applicants must have flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays and be willing to work a hectic schedule during the Christmas Market. Applicants must be able to safely lift up to 50lbs. on a regular basis and be able to stand for long periods of time. Must have a current food handler’s card. $22/hour plus tips.
Preferences:
3-5 years experience as a banquet chef and/or pastry chef.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with colleagues.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
