School Wide Teacher's Aide for a daycare center

Now hiring a school aide to assist with lighthousekeeping for a small daycare center. Must be able to multi-task and shift gears to assist where needed. Duties include but are not limited to mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, running dishes through the dishwasher, cleaning windows, cleaning surfaces in kitchen, classrooms, bathrooms, common areas, reception area. This position will also involve helping in classrooms during meal times with hand-washing and involves periods of classroom/student supervision and care during transition periods such as morning drop-off, end of day pick-up, assistance during and after nap, and other duties. Children range in age from infants up to age 5 years old.

Location: Wicker Park/Ukrainian Village

Hours: 20-30 hours a week

Job Requirements:

Job applicants must possess a high school degree or GED.

Job applicants must be willing to undergo a background check.

Job applicants must be able to communicate in and understand English.

Having Spanish speaking skills is a plus but is not required.
