We’re excited to be named a Best Place to Work in Austin by Austin Business Journal, and we’d love to show you why!About the Position:The Operations Planning Manager will oversee and manage the integrated business planning process to align sales forecasts, inventory management, and production plans with the company’s strategic goals. This role ensures efficient operations by coordinating between sales, marketing, production, and supply chain teams, ensuring optimal inventory levels and customer satisfaction. The Operations Planning Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams and the Operations team to ensure accurate demand forecasts are integrated into the overall planning process.Responsibilities:Integrated Business Planning :

Lead the S&OP process, ensuring alignment between sales forecasts, production schedules, and inventory management.

Facilitate regular S&OP meetings with cross-functional teams to review forecasts, inventory levels, and supply chain performance.

Demand planning Oversight:

Manage and provide oversight demand planning, ensuring accurate and timely demand forecasts.

Facilitate the demand planner's responsibilities, working closely with them to incorporate promotional plans, product launches, and market intelligence into demand forecasts.

Ensure that demand planning outputs are aligned with production schedules and supply chain requirements.

Supply Chain Coordination :

Partner with the cross functional teams to align demand forecasts with capacity and resource planning.

Work with Supply Chain, Operations and logistics teams to adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demand conditions.

Inventory Management :

Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory, in alignment with demand forecasts.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting :

Track KPIs related to sales forecasts, inventory levels, production efficiency, and order fulfillment, ensuring demand planning metrics are incorporated.

Prepare and present regular reports on S&OP performance to senior management.

Process Improvement :

Continuously evaluate and improve S&OP processes, tools, and systems in collaboration with cross functional teams to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Implement best practices in demand planning, supply chain management, and inventory control.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

Act as the primary liaison between sales, marketing, production, supply chain, and finance, to ensure cohesive planning and execution.

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus.

4+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or operations management within a CPG environment.

Proven track record of successfully leading S&OP processes and driving cross-functional collaboration.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration.

Proficiency in demand planning software and tools (e.g., Kinaxis, Net Suite, AP APO, Oracle Demantra) as well as advanced knowledge of Excel.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.

APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is preferred.

Hybrid Position It will require regular in-office presence on a weekly basis, as well as additional in-office days as needed to meet business demands. Fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and adaptability. Some travel may be required to meet with suppliers, customers, or other company locations.
