Legal Assistant
TrustPoint.One has partnered with a prestigious AMLaw 200 firm in Richmond, VA, to assist in their search for a skilled Real Estate Legal Assistant. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in commercial and public real estate law, seeking to elevate their career within a top-tier legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents and contracts
- Manage workflow for attorneys and coordinate with other teams
- Handle closing documents and organize virtual closing rooms
- Maintain files and documents within the Firm’s Document Management System (NetDocs)
- Manage client communications and handle general office duties
- Enter lawyers' time and expenses in IntApp software
- Schedule meetings, calls, and manage work calendars
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of legal administrative experience, preferably in real estate law
- Strong MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF
- Proficient in document comparison software and document management systems
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to new technologies quickly
- High School Diploma required, college degree preferred
- Experience in legal real estate transactions or finance law
