Clinical Massage Therapist, 1 day per week

Scottsdale Therapeutic & Sports Massage is seeking a clinical/therapeutic massage therapist with excellent clinical reasoning skills available one day per week, with the long-term option of adding days/hours as you build your clientele. This is NOT a position for someone with a background in spa/resort/Swedish massage, but rather for an LMT who enjoys problem-solving with strong deep tissue skills.

I am looking specifically for a therapist trained (or pursuing training) in a clinical modality (e.g., NMT, MAT, ART, orthopedic massage) to handle the overflow of my clients who expect specific work to address ongoing conditions. Please be aware it may take a few months to build a full schedule. This opening is best suited to a candidate with employment/income elsewhere who is willing to build relationships with repeat clientele.

Starting pay is a 50% commission on the rate the client pays, plus 100% of any tips. Not all clients tip (though many do) and I kindly ask that you are respectful in handling clients' differing attitudes towards tipping.

You will need your own insurance and an active Arizona massage therapy license in good standing. Please do not apply if you do not currently hold an active AZ massage license.

Please note my business is in north Scottsdale (near 101 and Raintree/Cactus); make sure the commute works for you before applying.
