Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to the dental team and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in the clinic. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient care.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Ability to administer and prepare two rooms, simultaneously for Doctor from time to time.
Actively participate during doctor-patient exams to understand the recommended procedures and reasons behind them in order to help with claims processing.
Document all procedures accurately and promptly to patient charts.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization, adhering to OSHA requirements
Sterilizes all instruments and maintenance on autoclave machines
Contribute as a team player, supporting colleagues in case of emergencies or short-staffed situations, even beyond regular RDA duties
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2- 3 years of experience as an RDA in a similar fast-paced dental environment
Radiology license and CPR certification required
Proficient in assisting with general dentistry procedures, implants, root canals, and denture care
Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
A positive, flexible, and team-oriented mindset
Maintain accurate medical documentation for patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
Skills
Alginate Impressions, Coronal polishing;
Digitial X rays , Intraoral Photos and CBCT scan operations
Strong knowledge of infection control practices to maintain a safe environment.
Familiarity with prosthodontics procedures and terminology.
Understanding of anatomy relevant to dentistry.
Proficiency in aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during procedures
DENTRIX Software knowledge a plus but we will train!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
